DankCity is a content-rich WordPress website built for publishing articles, videos, featured content, product categories, brand highlights, and directory-style pages.I developed a fully custom WordPress theme to make the website easy to manage from the backend while keeping the frontend clean, responsive, scalable, and SEO-friendly.

The main challenge was building a content-heavy website that could handle multiple types of content while still being easy for the client to manage.

The website needed different sections for articles, videos, brands, products, guides, newsletters, and listing-style content. A normal page-builder setup could become heavy and difficult to maintain, so the project required a more structured custom WordPress approach.

I built a custom WordPress theme with reusable template parts, dynamic WordPress queries, custom page sections, and flexible content structures.

The frontend was developed with clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, while WordPress was used as the CMS so the client could easily publish and organize content from the dashboard. The theme structure was planned to support long-term content growth, responsive layouts, and SEO-friendly page markup.

The final result is a scalable WordPress-powered content platform that allows the client to publish, organize, and promote a large amount of content through a clean and professional frontend.

The website is easier to manage from the backend, supports multiple content sections, works well across devices, and provides a strong foundation for ongoing publishing, SEO growth, and future feature expansion.
